As defined by Indiana Code 14-13-6, the "Wabash River Heritage Corridor means that strip of land on Indiana abutting the Wabash River, the Little River, and the portage between the Little River and the Maumee River." Corridor counties are the nineteen counties containing any portion of the defined Corridor.
