The Division of Student Financial Aid, a division of the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, provides need-based tuition assistance to eligible Indiana residents attending eligible Indiana colleges and universities. SFA has several programs, the largest two being the Frank O’Bannon Grant and 21st Century Scholars Program
To be eligible for the Frank O’Bannon Grant or 21st Century Scholars Program you must file a FAFSA each year by March 10 for the next academic year. A FAFSA typically is available within 3 business days of filing.

Please note—if you have just filed a FAFSA for the first time, it takes 5-7 business days for the state to receive this FAFSA from the federal government. You will not be able to access eStudent until SFA has your FAFSA on file.
