Since 2005, the State of Indiana has honored not only 35 years of service, but also those with 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 years of government employment. Long-term employees are considered to be those with at least 35 years of service to the state of Indiana.

    On August 21, 2012, Governor Daniels recognized 306 state employees for their long time service to the state at a recent reception at the Statehouse. Long-term employees are considered those with at least 35 years of service to the state of Indiana and are recognized every five years following.
