In fulfilling its mission of increasing financial literacy and educating Hoosiers about investment fraud, Indiana Investment Watch hosts several workshops and outreach events and attends fairs and expos throughout the state. Check the list below to find an event near you. All times are local.

County Fair Tour
The Indiana Secretary of State's offce will have a booth at the following county fairs to distribute information from our four divisions:
Tuesday, July 12 (Marion County)
Women and Minority Resource Fair from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Government Center South Atrium, Indianapolis
This resource fair, geared toward women and minorities, gives attendees a chance to ask questions and get information from state agencies and other organizations related to business. Stop by the Indiana Secretary of State's office to speak with our Business Services Division and get money managemet tips and tools to help keep your business afloat.
This event is free and open to the public.
Wednesday, July 13 and July 20 (Marion County)
BizCamp
Junior Achievement, Indianapolis
At Junior Achievement's BizCamp, students learn about the "real world" through hands-on, interactive activities. BizCampers will get a visit from the Secretary of State's office to learn about investment fraud and the impact it can have on victims.

Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration
Convention Center, Indianapolis
The 41st annual Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration brings a full line-up of guest speakers, health and information fairs, musical entertainment and much more. The Indiana Secretary of State's Office will have a booth in the Community & Government section of the Exhibit Hall B in the Convention Center. Stop by to pick up resoures on avoiding fraud, managing your money and much more.

IUPUI Center for Economic Education Educator Workshop from 10:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In this workshops, educators will learn about the financial literacy curriculum and resources available through the Indiana Investment Watch program. They will also get an update on the latest types of investment and mortgage fraud ocurring in Indiana and how to avoid falling victim to scams.

Money Management 101
Helmer, Noblesville
Budgeting - it's one of the most fundamental money management skills yet only 39 percent of Americans have and follow a budget. In this workshop, presented by the Secretary of State's Indiana Investment Watch program, attendees will learn how to create and stick to a budget. This workshop will also cover tips and tools for investing, saving for college and buying a home.
