Indianapolis, IN - The public affairs cable television network C-SPAN plans to broadcast a portion of the 2004 National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) New Millennium Young Voters Summit on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 live on C-SPAN 1 from 1:55 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The C-SPAN coverage will include a panel discussion moderated by Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita titled Voter Education: A Perspective From Young Adults. Among the panelists will be representatives from the college Democrat, Green, Libertarian and Republican parties as well as a representative from the Federal Voting Assistance Project.
Four students from Indiana are attending the summit with Rokita, Terre Haute North High School seniors A.J. Patton and Andrew Grimes, Indiana University - East student Paul Martin, and Meghann Thomas, a student at William and Mary University.
