The State Work Study Program is designed to help students gain work experience and earn money towards their college expenses both during the summer and the school year.
Where are the Jobs
Employers all over the state apply to participate every year. Eligible Employers include state, city, and local government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and institutions, including colleges and universities. Students who received and used an Indiana Higher Education Awards (HEA) and/or 21st Century Scholarships may participate in this program. You are responsible for finding an employer that is eligible to participate in this program. A list of employers will be available in March 2013.
How do I Participate
Fill out your information that's requested on the website between July 2012 and May 1, 2013.
Late March 2013, a list of participating summer employers will be available. To review the list of summer employers click eligible employers list. The employers may begin contacting students during the spring break periods. You may also contact employers on the list that is posted on this website.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Used an HEA and/or 21st Century Scholarship during the 2012-13 academic year
2. Will not graduate at the end of the 2013-14 fall semester or quarter.
3. Will enroll as an undergraduate student during the 2013-14 academic year.
