IHIT Soliciting Health Information Project Ideas

The board of directors of Indiana Health Information Technology, Inc. (IHIT) is soliciting project ideas for the $10.3 million federal grant the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) received in March.  The State of Indiana was awarded the funding to further expand the use of health information exchange under the State Health Information Exchange Cooperative Agreement Program.  The submitted project ideas should fit within the strategic pillars as defined below:

Parties interested in submitting ideas for consideration should complete the project template posted online at http://www.in.gov/fssa/4158.htm. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, July 9, 2010.  Please direct questions regarding IHIT and project submission to the Statewide Health IT Director Andrew VanZee at 317-232-1165 or Andrew.Vanzee@fssa.IN.gov
