PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE THROUGH THE ACADIS FOR COURSES THAT BEGIN AFTER JULY 1, 2010. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER THROUGH THE TRATS REGISTRATION SYSTEM.
The purpose of this one-day class is to provide the student with the knowledge and skill to instruct and develop basic level less lethal courses. To be eligible for this course the student must have already successfully completed the shotgun instructor course.
All ammunition will be provided by the Academy.
Equipment Requirements:
.12 Gauge Shotgun with Sling
.Duty Leather and Handgun
.Flashlight
.Eye and Ear Protection
.Cleaning Equipment
.Appropriate Dress for all Weather Conditions

Cost: $125.00 for Indiana Residents and $150.00 for Out-of-State Residents.
Inservice Credit: 8 hours
If a department needs to cancel a student from an ILEA inservice class, it must be done no later than five (5) working days prior to the start of the class. If a student does not show up or cancellation is made any closer to the start of the class the agency will be responsible for payment in full for this class.
