FORT WAYNE, Ind.-The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District has scheduled a public hearing for the proposed design plans for added travel lanes on State Road 14 at West Hamilton Road. The public hearing includes a presentation of the proposed project's plans, tentative project schedule, and an opportunity for the public to make statements about the project.

WHEN: 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 24

WHERE: Covington Elementary School cafeteria, 2430 West Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne

WHAT: The project limits are just west of the SR 14/West Hamilton Road intersection and proceeds east to the SR 14/Scott Road intersection. It provides a five-lane roadway that includes a bidirectional two-way left turn lane. Also included in the project parameters are storm sewers and the widening of two bridges.
