ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) Fort Wayne District announces the closure of S.R. 101, between U.S. 24 and S.R. 37, effective Monday, March 22, due to a bridge deck replacement project over the Maumee River, weather permitting. The approaches will also be reconstructed.

The official detour is U.S. 24 to I-469 to S.R. 37 and back to S.R. 101. This adds approximately 16 miles for thru traffic. 

By late June the project should be complete.

Motorists are encouraged to drive with caution through the construction work zone.

R.L. McCoy submitted the low bid and was awarded the contract for $742,000. 155
