3/11/13 - INSPECT now sharing live data with Illinois
INSPECT is now sharing data with Illinois! INSPECT went live with data sharing to Illinois on Friday, March 8th, 2013. Now registered users may request that applicable records be included from Illinois when making a request for a patient Rx History Report. INSPECT is now only one state away from sharing data with all our neighboring states!
11/1/2012 - INSPECT now sharing live data with Kansas, Arizona, Connecticut and North Dakota
lNSPECT began sharing data with Kansas, Arizona, Connecticut, and North Dakota on 11/1/2012, in addition to Ohio, Michigan and Virginia. Now users of INSPECT will be able to request records from any of these states when making a request. Registered users of those state prescription monitoring programs will also be able to request records from Indiana. INSPECT anticipates sharing data with Kentucky and Illinois very soon, which will make Indiana the first state to share data with all surrounding border states!
6/1/2012 - New HelpDesk now in place!
INSPECT has implemented a new online HelpDesk to handle all inquiries and requests to the program. This will allow staff to respond to all requests and emails in a timely manner and to better serve the program's users and stakeholders. Please complete a HelpDesk ticket for any assistance needed with the program so that staff can resolve issues thoroughly and quickly.

5/11/2012 - INSPECT now sharing live data with Michigan
lNSPECT is now sharing data with Michigan. Users of INSPECT will be able to request records from Michigan, along with Ohio and Virginia. Similarly, registered users of Michigan's MAPS prescription monitoring program will also be able to request records from Indiana.
4/9/2012 - INSPECT's New User-Led Unsolicited Reporting (ULUR) feature is ready for use
lNSPECT is happy to announce the release of our newest reporting feature, the user-led unsolicited reporting (ULUR) function. This function is available for use by all "practitioner" accounts and will allow users to forward a copy of an Rx History Report to mutual treatment providers listed on that report. For more information, please refer to the guide below. Email INSPECT at inspect@pla.in.gov or submit a HelpDesk ticket with any questions or issues.
8/26/11 - Data sharing with Ohio will be soon be released to all users
Soon users will be able to request patient data from Ohio pharmacies along with Indiana pharmacies. This will enable practitioners and law enforcement located near the Indiana/Ohio border to obtain accurate and complete information on patients who might be crossing the border to fill prescriptions written in Ohio, or vice versa. INSPECT launched this new function with a small pilot group of users and it has been very successful. Pending further testing INSPECT anticipates releasing this function to all users very soon. INSPECT will announce this release news via a letter to all users and announcements on our homepage here at in.gov/inspect as well as on the login page to the PMP WebCenter.
7/5/11 - New INSPECT regional training session dates announced
Location information will be added as it becomes available. If a training session is not currently planned for your region, INSPECT offers small practice or physician group trainings, free of charge. Please contact inspect@pla.in.gov if you would like more information or if you are interested in a private on-site training session for your group or practice. 7/5/11 - Waiting on your registration to be approved?
Make sure you have fully completed your registration with the INSPECT WebCenter. If you have registered online, but have not submitted the account re-authentication form, your registration is not complete. INSPECT will only be able to process your registration once that form has been submitted to our office. A copy of that form along with more information can be found here. It is not necessary to complete this form for a Pharmacy Data Upload Account.
