LMS Conservancy District
A March 14, 2013 Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) order established new water rates for Lawrenceburg, Manchester, Sparta Townships Conservancy District, which provides service in Dearborn County.
Under the order, the monthly water bill for a residential customer using 5,000 gallons will rise from $18.94 to $25.15. The district's request would have raised that amount to $27.99. The OUCC's recommendations would have limited it to $22.62.
The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) issued an August 28, 2012 news release to invite consumer input.
