The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) issued a July 31, 2012 order approving an agreement between the Columbia City Municipal Water Utility and the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC).

An IURC public field hearing was held March 8, 2012 in Columbia City. The OUCC issued a February 16 news release inviting consumer comments.
