In Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) Cause No. 44067, Vectren Energy Delivery requested rate recovery related to the Dense Pack Project at its A.B. Brown Generating Station in Posey County.

The request was denied in a July 11, 2012 Commission order.

The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) filed testimony opposing Vectren's request on December 21, 2011. For more information, please see the OUCC's news release.

An IURC public field hearing was held on November 28 in Evansville. An OUCC news release inviting consumer comments and announcing the field hearing was issued on November 14.
