The City of Bloomington's current municipal water rates were approved on March 2, 2011.

An IURC public field hearing was held in Bloomington on November 3, 2010. The OUCC issued an October 26, 2010 news release announcing the hearing and inviting consumer comments.

Only the city's water rates were at issue in the rate case. By law, municipal sewer rates are not under IURC jurisdiction.
