Citizens Thermal Energy is seeking a rate increase for steam utility service in downtown Indianapolis.

Key utility filings include:

Citizens' proposal would increase the steam utility's annual base rate revenues by approximately $8.5 million.

The OUCC recommends limiting the increase to about $7.4 million in testimony (35 pages) filed on October 1, 2013.

This case's evidentiary hearing has concluded, with closing arguments being filed as follows:

  • Citizens filed its proposed order (46 pages) on January 10, 2014.
  • The OUCC filed exceptions (4 pages) on February 5, 2014, as did industrial customers who have intervened in the case.
  • A reply brief from Citizens is due by February 25, 2014.
