Brown County Water Utility, Inc. and the OUCC have reached a settlement agreement in the utility's pending rate case.
Under the agreement, a residential customer's monthly bill at 5,000 gallons would rise from $64.28 to $65.37. The utility's initial request would have raised that amount to $68.35.
The OUCC issued an August 7 news release to invite consumer comments.
