    SEC. 5. The said Grand Lodge of Indiana, by the name and style, of the Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master and Warden of the Grand Lodge of Indiana, and the lodges which now are, or hereafter may be subordinate to the said Grand Lodge, by the name and style of the Master and Wardens of Lodge No. ___, taking to themselves such name and number as have been, or may be assigned them, by the said Grand Lodge of Indiana, shall be able and capable in law to purchase, have, hold, receive, enjoy and retain to themselves in perpetuity, or for any term of years, any lands, tenements, or hereditaments of what kind or nature soever, not exceeding in real estate one acre of ground, together with the improvements thereon, and of personal estate, not exceeding the sum of five thousand dollars; and to sell, alien or lease the same, as they or each of them may think proper.

    SEC. 6. The same powers, rights, privileges and immunities, which are by this act conferred on, and extended to the said subordinate lodges, are hereby extended to, and conferred on each and every Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, now established in this state, or which may hereafter be established according to the principles of Royal Arch Masonry.
