The Tax Court has exclusive jurisdiction over any case that arises under the Indiana tax laws and that is an initial appeal of a final determination made by the Indiana Department of State Revenue or the Indiana Board of Tax Review. Upcoming Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

Judge Martha Blood Wentworth and Tax Court staff will be the speakers at the "Indiana Tax Law and the Indiana Tax Court" CLE presented by the Legislative Services Agency on November 15, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Participants are eligible to receive 3 hours of approved CLE credit at a cost of $75. There is no charge for members or employees of the Indiana General Assembly or employees of the Indiana Board of Tax Review, Indiana Department of State Revenue, and Indiana Department of Local Government Finance. Registration is required.
Annual State Tax Reception & CLE

The Indiana Tax Court staff is among the list of guests and honorees at the Annual State Tax Reception & CLE, sponsored by the ISBA Taxation Section on November 16, 2017. The CLE is at Barnes & Thornburg beginning at 3:30 p.m. and the Reception is at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery beginning at 4:30 p.m. . Participants of the CLE are eligible to receive 1 hour of approved CLE credit. Registration is required.

Indiana Tax Court Judge Martha Blood Wentworth was recognized by her peers from across the United States by receiving the 2017 Lawrence L. Lasser Tax Judge of the Year, an award presented annually by the National Conference of State Tax Judges and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.
