State Office of GAL/CASA Receives Grant from the National CASA Association

The Indiana State Office of GAL/CASA was recently awarded a $40,000.00 State Organization Grant from the National CASA Association. The funds will be used by the State Office to provide staff support to local certified GAL/CASA programs across the State of Indiana. This will include technical assistance and assisting programs in capacity building in order to increase the number of abused and neglected children served. Although Indiana has one of the largest networks of CASA volunteer programs in the country, there is still a great need for more volunteers in most communities.
