The Indiana Supreme Court will celebrate Constitution Day 2013 by inviting judges around the state to visit a classroom to talk about the process for amending the U.S. and Indiana Constitutions.
Each judge will have a classroom set of pocket Constitutions to give out to the students in participating classes. The judge and students will use the pocket Constitution to walk through the process of proposing and ratifying changes to the U.S. and Indiana Constitutions. The activity is geared for students in grades 4-12.
Teachers are encouraged to contact a local judge and invite them to speak to their class. If you need help locating a judge, try looking at our Judges Speakers Bureau.
Appellate Courts and offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
