The Community Relations Committee of the Judicial Conference of Indiana, in partnership with the Indiana Supreme Court, created the Indiana Judges Speakers Bureau as a resource for teachers and schools. The Speakers Bureau is an outreach project of the Indiana Judiciary. Its purposes are to connect schools with volunteer judges to speak about courts and other law-related topics and to facilitate an understanding of the purpose and structure of Indiana's judicial system. Speakers can be used for special events such as Law Day and Constitution Day, or as part of a class lesson plan.
The following is a directory of judicial officers willing to speak to K-12 classrooms in their respective counties. Teachers may contact a listed judge by either telephone or Email. For more information on the Judges Speakers Bureau, please contact Jennifer Bauer of the Indiana Judicial Center at (317) 232-1313.
