The Board of Law Examiners (BLE) portal is back online and the $250 late fee will be waived until April 5. Applications submitted on or after April 6 will be assessed the fee. The portal was taken offline earlier this week after suspicious activity on the server that houses the portal was detected. At this time, it does not appear sensitive information was compromised.
No other Indiana systems, such as e-filing, Odyssey, or INcite apps were taken offline or are affected.
The portal (which was created and is managed by an outside firm) is used to collect information such as transcripts, letters of recommendation, and health records from those applying to take the bar exam. Information collected in the portal does not appear to be breached.
