The subject matter of this rulemaking (RM# 11-05, LSA# 12-97) is the implementation of Indiana's Voluntary Clean Energy Portfolio Standard Program, also known as the Comprehensive Hoosier Option to Incentivize Clean Energy (CHOICE) Program. The rulemaking stems from legislation that was passed in 2011 and codified at IC ch. 8-1-37. The rule allows utilities to qualify for financial incentives if they meet targets for including clean energy resources in their supply portfolio.
