The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) is a state agency that oversees various aspects of regulated public utilities' business, including, but not limited to, the following: rates, financing, bonding, environmental compliance plans, and service territories. Our mission is to assure that utilities and others use adequate planning and resources for the provision of safe and reliable utility services at a reasonable cost.
