Location of Offense: 8920 Louisiana Street, Merrillville, IN

Circumstances:  On 03/03/1989, Margret M. Gill was discovered murdered at a Days Inn located at 8290 Louisiana Street, Merrillville, IN.  The Days Inn had been robbed, and Gill died of gunshot wounds to the head.  Also on the same date, Jeanne M. Gilbert was taken from a Days Inn Hotel in Jasper County, IN.  Her body was discovered on County Road 150 West, near Brookston, IN.
