Protecting Children from Internet Predators   
In a special report, WTHITV interviewed Lt. Chuck Cohen and Detective Jennifer Richmond of the Indiana Crimes against Children Task Force.  The unit focuses on tracking down those who create, view and share child pornography.  "These offenders often times are early adopters of the latest technology,” Lt. Chuck Cohen explained.  "They’ll exploit that technology to further their criminal purpose.”

In Indiana, possessing any form of child pornography is a felony. A single count is punishable by up to eight years behind bars.  "It’s our goal to identify as many of these people that we can, and to make known the scope of the problem,” Detective Jennifer Richmond said.
