Circumstances: On February 10, 2003, James W. Ellis, was found dead in his backyard in rural Fountain county. The manner of death was determined to be homicide. The victim was an elderly recluse and had last been seen on December 26, 2002. He was discovered by relatives who had not heard from him in over a month.
