Tobacco Free Policies

Ordinances:

Monroe County: All workplaces and public places in Monroe County (with the exception of the town of Ellettsville) are smoke free.

Bloomington: In Bloomington, smoking is not allowed in public places and places of employment, including restaurants, bars, membership clubs and out door seating areas. The Bloomington Ordinance became effective on August 1, 2003 for all places except bars. On January 1, 2005, bars became smoke free.

Funding

  • Funding for July 2009- June 2011: $188,000
