REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS OB Navigation—Increasing Access to Prenatal Care
The purpose of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to fund competitive two-year grants for a health department, hospital, physician’s group, other healthcare related entity, or a nonprofit organization (as defined by the IRS Tax Determination) within the State of Indiana to fund nurse practitioners, advance practice nurses and/or nurse midwives to provide prenatal care in OB deserts.

Go Garden Grant for Child Care Providers:
The purpose of the Indiana Go Garden Grant is to provide licensed Early Childcare and Education (ECE) settings with funds to improve access to nutrition education, and garden creation that support Farm to ECE efforts. The goal with this funding stream is to create or improve garden spaces that cultivate experiential learning, taste-testing and engage children in wellness topics.
Funding requests should demonstrate the ability to promote developmentally appropriate activities, a desired location for garden, and capacity to manage the garden. This grant will fund up to $2,500 from May 1st, 2020 to September 30th, 2020.
In order to qualify for this grant, employers must meet the following criteria:
- Headquartered in Indiana
- Be a licensed center or home provider or registered ministry

Professional Development Trainings Request for Proposal (RFP)
The purpose of the professional development (PD) training RFP s to offer a free opportunity for physical education teachers and before and after school professionals in Indiana to learn activities to incorporate in their school, classrooms, and organizations to increase physical activity in K-12 (6-17 year-old) settings. The Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity (DNPA) would like to host 2-4 trainings in the fall of 2020.
