Definitions

  • Pressure Ulcer
    • Localized injury to the skin and/or underlying tissue usually over a bony prominence, as a result of pressure, or pressure in combination with shear and/or friction.  [from National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP)]
