Welcome to the home page for the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Health Care Engineering Program.  The Health Care Engineering Program consists of engineering programs in support of health care licensing and certification programs for acute care and long term care providers.  The ISDH has created individual program home pages for some of the programs.  Links to the program home pages are below.

About the Health Care Engineering Program

The mission of the Health Care Engineering Program is to improve health and safety of health care facilities.  The Health Care Engineering Program reviews and approves construction plans for regulated health care facilities to assure they will be constructed in accordance with nationally recognized medical, health, safety and accessibility standards.
