The 2006 Indiana Minority Health Report provides a snapshot of trends in minority health in Indiana and the United States. The 2004 report updated much of the content in the 2001 Indiana Minority Health Report, which provided the epidemiologic foundation for the Indiana-specific objectives derived in the Healthy Indiana – A Minority Health Plan for the State of Indiana (the Healthy Indiana Minority Health Plan). Developed by the Indiana Minority Health Advisory Committee and released in 2003, the Healthy Indiana Minority Health Plan provides recommended actions, targets for change, and suggested policies to help guide health agencies and other entities in addressing minority health disparities in Indiana.
