Indiana Statewide HIV Prevention Community Planning Group (CPG)

Vision Statement

The Indiana HIV Prevention Community Planning Group (CPG) envisions access to a full scale of HIV-related services by eliminating barriers to  accessing HIV care, decreasing stigma and discrimination, as well as reducing the rates of new HIV infections and HIV related health disparities throughout the state of Indiana.

Mission Statement

The mission of the CPG is to collaborate with the Indiana State Department of Health, as well as other key stakeholders to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of engagement strategies for a Jurisdictional HIV Prevention Plan that will increase access to HIV prevention, care, and treatment services in the state of Indiana.

Membership

Membership in the Indiana HIV Prevention Community Planning Group is open to anyone infected with, affected by or interested in advocating for the needs of those most at risk for infection or those currently living with HIV.  Applications are accepted for new and continuing members for the HIV Prevention Planning Group throughout the year, with membership terms beginning in January.  The term of membership of all members shall be two (2) years.  Members terms may not exceed two (2) consecutive terms..
