HISTORY

On May 2, 1988, the Family Wellness Helpline was launched as a statewide comprehensive information and referral program through the Indiana State Department of Health’s Maternal and Child Health Division. The Family Wellness Helpline was designed to assist in promoting Maternal and Child Health Services, WIC Services and support other programs and services throughout the state. In 1998, the Family Wellness Helpline became what has since been known as the Indiana Family Helpline.
