Elected in 2002, Todd is the prosecuting attorney for Boone County and was re-elected to his third consecutive term in November 2010.  Prior to becoming prosecutor Todd served on the Boone County Council and was a lawyer at the law firms of Lowe Gray Steele & Darko and Parr Richey Obremskey Frandsen & Patterson. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville in 1994 where he was a student athlete participating on the university’s division I golf and swimming teams.  Todd received his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1997.

Todd is a member of the Boone County (president, 2003) and Indiana State (secretary, 2004, 2012, board member 2010-2011) bar associations. Todd also served as the 2012 chairman of the ISBA’s Annual Meeting Host Committee.  He is also a board member of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council (chairman, 2012), a member of the National District Attorneys Association and a past board member of the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum.  Todd is also the founder and current president of the Boone County Child Advocacy Center. 
 

Todd and his wife Mary Frances live in Lebanon with their three sons.
