TRF Confidentiality of Fund Records
Confidentiality of fund records administered by INPRS (35 IAC 1.2-1-5)
This provision aligns the PERF and TRF confidentiality rules and provides, when legally necessary, that INPRS can provide member information to the following:
- Members of the Indiana General Assembly;
- State Agencies;
- Quasi-governmental agencies;
- Any person with express written permission of the member;
- An active member’s employer;
- A deceased member’s beneficiary, pursuant to a small estate affidavit or probate affidavit; or
- To comply with state of federal law, subpoena, legal discovery under the Indiana trial rules or the Orders and Procedures Act, or other court order.
