Confidentiality of fund records administered by INPRS (35 IAC 1.2-1-5):

This provision aligns the PERF and TRF confidentiality rules and provides, when legally necessary, that INPRS can provide member information to the following:

  1. Members of the Indiana General Assembly;
  2. State Agencies;
  3. Quasi-governmental agencies;
  4. Any person with express written permission of the member;
  5. An active member’s employer;
  6. A deceased member’s beneficiary, pursuant to a small estate affidavit or probate affidavit; or
  7. To comply with state of federal law, subpoena, legal discovery under the Indiana trial rules or the Orders and Procedures Act, or other court order.
