Some employer rates will change Jan. 1, 2013. Will yours?

Make sure you use the correct contribution rate on payrolls submitted after Jan. 1, 2013. If you do not, your transactions will fail validations within the ERM system.

PERF employers:
PERF employers have different employer contribution rates. The 2013 rate was communicated to employers in late 2011 or early 2012. If you are unsure of your rate, contact EPPA.

You will receive information about new contribution rates in late December 2012 (to be effective 7/1/2013 for state employers and universities) or late January 2013 (to be effective 1/1/2014 for political subdivisions).

TRF employers:
TRF's employer contribution rate of 7.5 percent remains the same for all employers. The 2013 rate will go into effect 7/1/2013.

'77 Fund employers:
The contribution rate for the '77 fund is the same for all employers and will remain at 19.7 percent. The 2013 rate will go into effect on 1/1/2013.
