Asset Management is the core resource for the collection of data gathered and used at INDOT. The data received is an essential element for project planning and for the analyzing the needs for the State of Indiana.
Asset Management is responsible for the following units.
Traffic Safety -The Traffic Safety Unit is responsible for the following programs:
Bridge-The Bridge Unit is responsible for analyzing bridge data for cost-effective projects.
Roadway Inventory -The Roadway Inventory Office is at the heart of the data collection and integration at INDOT. The Office is comprised to three distinct yet related areas: Inventory, Spatial Analysis, and HPMS. The three units work together to maintain the enterprise basemap, administrative attribution, and limited physical attribution of all INDOT facilities and significant locally owned facilities. As such this unit plays a key role in many analysis functions.
