Members present: Dennis Heeke, Jan Abbs, James Torke, Jon Krahulik

Staff present: Sarah Nagy, Executive Director/Counsel

The meeting was called to order at approximately 2:30 P.M. The Commissioners unanimously approved the minutes of the May, 2004, meeting.

Commissioners voted in favor of referring the following individuals to the Office of the Marion County Prosecutor, for failure to file May, 2004, activity reports: IN Park and Recreation Assn., Inc., Suzanne Mathis, John R. Molitor. The Executive Director was instructed to send letters of prosecutorial referral. None of these individuals appeared to give cause for their failure to file, and none have responded to the numerous certified letters and phone messages from ILRC staff.

MISC

Staff report was given:

Commissioners instructed the Director to work with GASI in approaching the legislature with a statutory amendment proposal which would move the registration date to November 1st.

Public comment was solicited. Dan Seitz commented that GASI supported the November 1st filing date, and indicated that lobbyist John Barnett would assist he lobby commission in attempting to meet that legislative goal.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 3:00 p.m.

The executive session was for the purpose of discussing records classified as confidential by state or federal statute, pursuant to IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(7). The Commission certifies that no subject was discussed other than that notified. The Executive Session was adjourned at approximately 3:15 p.m.
