The Basic Historical Cell Site Analysis Course is designed to be an introduction to basic cellular analysis and geospatial mapping. The class provides instruction in the basic principles of cellular networks, how call detail records provided by the major cellular providers are created, how to read and understand the call detail records, and how to utilize the call detail records in law enforcement investigations to illustrate a cellular phone’s general location.

Open source investigations utilize free, unsecured websites to search for real world criminal activity. There is no trickery in open source investigations, it is not a way to get past usernames and passwords; it’s simply a way to obtain what a criminal posts (names, pictures, videos, conversations) in open, and public forums. There is no need for search warrants, court orders, or subpoenas. Through a structured survey of available resources, law enforcement personnel will view, search and manage multiple open source sites and services in the search of criminals and criminal activities.

This class is designed for any investigator, detective, or supervisor; authorized support staff will be admitted with prior agecy documentation. Prior experience is not required.

Students should bring a laptop with unfettered access to the Internet (no site blocking software). Anit-virus software is highly recommended.  Register at:

  • 1 distraction device.
  • 3-40mm impact rounds (if used by your agency).
  • 5 twelve gauge bean bag rounds.

TASER X26, X26P and X2 Instructor certification - This online and practical day course will certify you to instruct others on the use of one or more of the X26, X26P AND X2 TASER Conducted Electrical Weapons. The online portion is a prerequisite to attend the practical schedule day.

What To Bring: The dress is casual. Bring your department issued TASER holster (if applicable). Holsters will be available for those who need them. Please bring your duty belt with NO firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind.

Reminder: The online portion of this course is required to be completed BEFORE the date and time listed above. The online portion will then lock and not be reopened. If you were unable to complete the online portion as required, you will not be permitted to attend the class and will either have to transfer or cancel your enrollment.

Innocence Stolen: Protecting Our Children from Online Predators

Predators target children because of their vulnerability. The market demand for young victims is high. The average age of entry into commercial sex trafficking is 14-15 years old, the average age a victim is exploited via the internet is 11-12. The most vulnerable include runaways and foster care children. Attendees will get a comprehensive understanding of commercial sexual exploitation of children, how to identify a potential victim, and understanding the victimology. Attendees can benefit by learning how to establish preventative measures and "RESPOND" to sexual exploitation, intervention strategies and online safety resources.
