For many years, several statewide housing and community economic development organizations in Indiana have presented awards to honor outstanding work in the field. The Indiana Association for Community Economic Development (IACED), the Indiana Coalition on Housing & Homeless Issues (ICHHI), the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBI) have all held annual awards presentations in the past, usually in conjunction with our annual conferences.
We encourage our members, supporters, and other stakeholders in the housing and community economic development field to honor yourselves and your colleagues by submitting a well-documented nomination for these outstanding efforts.
On September 27th, 2006 Lt. Governor Becky Skillman honored two organizations for their impact on affordable housing at the Statewide Conference on Affordable Housing and Community Economic Development. Click to read the press release.
