Kendra Wilds York

Ms. York serves as Public Finance Director of the State of Indiana. Prior to her role as Public Finance Director, Ms. York served as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer to the Indiana Finance Authority. Under these titles, she is responsible for all legal and operational aspects of the Authority. Manages all legal processes of IFA direct issuance transactions. To ensure that the IFA’s deals are run as efficiently as possible she manages negotiation, contract drafting, outside counsel, timeline, and disclosure. Oversees and coordinates legal and strategic issues related to the management of the IFA-related debt. Ms. York also handles all issues that arise with the management of IFA-related debt and all external IFA communications. 

Before her employment with the Authority, Ms. York was of counsel with the law firm of Ice Miller LLP, where her practice focused on tax-exempt financings for the State of Indiana and health care institutions. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University, her M.B.A. from California State University, Sacramento, California, and her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, also in Sacramento, California. She is licensed to practice law in California and Indiana.
