Health and Educational Facilities Bond Program Health and Educational Facilities Bond Program

The IFA's Health and Educational Facility Bond Program provides affordable financing alternatives for Indiana health care organizations and private institutions of higher education. Contact Cindy Pierson at (317) 233-4335 or cpierson@ifa.in.gov for more information.

Stand Alone Transactions

  • Variable and/or fixed rate loans
  • Terms up to 40 years

Direct Purchase Bond Program

  • For health care loans ranging from $500,000 to $3,000,000
  • Borrower's bank purchases bonds

Capital Access Designated Pool Program

  • Variable rate program completed periodically based on demand
  • Backed by letter of credit
  • Loans up to 10 years
  • Issuance costs spread among borrowers on a pro-rata basis
  • Loan rate set monthly and includes borrower's pro-rata share of administrative costs

Medical Equipment Financing Programs

  • Private placements
  • Terms usually five to seven years
