 Volunteer Programs

The Purposeful Living Units Serve (PLUS) program is a faith and character-based community within the facility. The emphasis of this voluntary initiative focuses on strengthening spiritual moral and character development as well as life-skills. http://www.in.gov/idoc/2356.htm Volunteers are needed to provide mentoring to offenders new to the program, helping them through the various aspects of the program as well as being a strong role model.

Religious Services – providing worship services, studies, and supervising religious programs

Fatherhood Programs Leaders - leading fatherhood programs with materials provided by the facility

Substance abuse programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous & Narcotics Anonymous - supervise offenders participating in these programs

Volunteer/Donation Needs

Need Fatherhood Program leaders as well as individuals to lead Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous programs.

Miami Correctional Facility has a need for volunteers both in our Level 3 and Level 1 facility.
