In 2013, Christine Altman was appointed as Chair of the Indiana Commission for Women by the Honorable Governor Mike Pence and to the Commission Board by the Honorable Brian Bosma in 2012. She currently serves as Hamilton County Commissioner of District One and has been in that position since 2003. She has been an attorney at law for 30 years in the private practice of law concentrating in business, probate, real estate and commercial law and has been legal counsel for Adams township, Wayne township, and Hamilton County Visitors and Convention Commission/Bureau. She has served in several capacities with several community organizations, including Conner Prairie Interactive History Park, Hamilton County Leadership Academy, the Carmel Clay Chamber of Commerce, and the Carmel Clay Educational Foundation.
