The General Retention Schedule for state agencies contains basic record-types created by most state government agencies; for records unique to a specific agency, use the Agency & Division Name search in the State Government Retention Schedule Database.

NOTE: Exceptions to General Retention record series may be granted by the Oversight Committee on Public Records only after submission of sufficient justification by the agency. In such rare cases, a modified version with a unique record series number will be added to the agency-specific retention schedule.
