This project focuses on ensuring that Latino small businesses have access to the resources of the State of Indiana made available through the Minority and Women Business Enterprise program. This program certifies minority businesses to compete on state projects and provides a host of training and networking opportunities to minority-owned businesses. It is critical that Latinos throughout the state take advantage of such programs and learn more about the opportunities available through the State.

On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, ICHLA partnered with the State of Indiana Department of Administration and La Casa de Amistad in South Bend to bring Latino small businesses the information they need to complete M/WBE Certification. Special thanks to ICHLA Commissioner Freddie Thon, Terrie Daniel and her staff from IDOA, and the wonderful people at La Casa de Amistad for helping further ICHLA's goal of bringing this critical information to Latino small businesses in different regions of the state.
