Requests for military retirement congratulatory letters must be made by the Commanding Officer on official military letterhead.  Please include the following information in the request:

  • Name of person retiring
  • Rank
  • Branch of service
  • Years of service
  • Date of retirement
  • Date of retirement ceremony
  • Address where letter should be sent—usually to the Commanding Officer

When complete, the request should be mailed to:

Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for the letter to be prepared.
